About the Club

The Club de Bridge Rideau Bridge Club is the home for all levels of Contract Bridge games and lessons in Ottawa.

• We have games and classes most afternoons and some mornings and evenings, with something for everyone.
• You can always find different faces on different days.

Your Helpful Hosts

Colin Brodie - RBC Owner/Manager

Deen Hergott - RBC Club Director

Deen asists Colin with club duties such as the ACBL/CBF reports, monthly on-line calendar and directs regular and special occasion games. 

Liz Schwartz - Teacher & Director (Thursday morning 0-299er supervised play program) Liz teaches Bridge at various levels and is immensely popular  - she has been a leader in the 299er games on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Ottawa, as well as helping out with Regular Stratified games.    

Al McLellan -  IMP League organizer and Director, Club Web Site and Finances, Teacher & Director - Al is responsible for the IMP League events (September to June) and the updating and/or cleaning up the website. Whenever available, he will try to answer any questions about the bidding or play of a particular hand after a session.

Heather Peckett  - Teacher & Director  (Friday morning 0-399er supervised play program)

Tim Edwards-Davies  - Teacher & Director

Jocelyne Boily - Teacher

ACBL accreditated "Bridge Teacher", Jocelyne shares her passion for Bridge and her expertise for teaching primarily with the francophone groups.

Barbara McLellan - Teacher

Barbara has long been involved in teaching Bridge to beginners - her easy going nature and enthusiasm for the game make her an excellent ambassador to welcome newcomers to the game.
